Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE)

The Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) was founded in 1912 as a professional body whose objective is the advancement of the science and practice of railway signalling, telecommunications and related matters. Membership extends to most countries where there are railways and is open to any person engaged in the management, planning, design, installation, maintenance or manufacture of railway signalling or associated equipment.
