The Museum's aim is to give you an insight into an unusual aspect of British Industrial Heritage; the Industrial Narrow Gauge Railway . Often hidden away in unusual locations, these self-contained transport systems were until recently in widespread use throughout Britain. During the past 25 years, as nearly all of these systems have fallen out of use, we have sought to collect for our museum a selection of narrow gauge equipment representative of the railways to be found in the United Kingdom.
