Jim's RR Magazines
My name is Jim Knoop. I am a 74-year-old purveyor (that's seller for you folks in Rio Linda) of magazines related to trains, both prototype and model. Most of my sales are done through my eBay store, where I am known as nettysdad. I know, I know – that doesn't sound very railroady, but when I started on eBay I didn't realize that I would be selling – almost exclusively – magazines (and sometimes books and videos) related to trains. Seems I found what's called a niche market. As I like to tell folks, If you have a niche, scratch it. And that's just what I have done.

In something like 10 or 12 years with two different eBay accounts I have sold magazines and railroad-related materials to countless folks, literally around the world – something like 20 or 21 countries so far, and still pumpin' ‘em out.
