The author states: "As a child, I was dreaming of owning a shop of model railways which never became empty. As an adult, I have a nice collection and dream of enough space to build naturally scaled railways. In the Microsoft Flight Simulator I found an outer shell that has a continuously improving model of our world's surface and a natural way to access any point on this earth - you just fly there. My contribution is an implementation of model railways into this shell, consisting of more than 1500 different rail macros, more then 400 different trains, and a design program which makes railway design possible for normal computer users."
