The London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) Encyclopedia
The LNER was one of the "Big Four" Railway Companies formed during the 1923 Grouping Act in Britain. As such it barely lasted 25 years, but in this time left a prestigious mark in British railway history. Even today, the LNER's Gresley Pacifics are synonymous with speed and luxury.

The LNER was a railway of contrasts. It was the second largest "Big Four" company in terms of route miles, but was also the poorest. It was famous for its prestigious high speed trains, but gained a lot of its income from the coal fields of North East England. Routes varied from the flat agricultural land of East Anglia, to the severe curves and gradients of Scotland and the Pennines.

The Reading Modeler
The Reading Modeler is a reference site for those interested in modeling the Reading Railroad. The purpose of this website is to provide an "electronic interchange" where individuals interested in model railroading and railroad history pertaining to the Reading Company and related railroads can obtain and share both prototype and model-related information. Just as cars are set out and picked up at the interchange, we hope that the content presented on the site will be dynamic as well, with new content continually being added as information is shared.

The Unofficial Twin Cities & Western Railroad Website. Welcome! My name is Mike Bargmann and this website is my attempt at providing an up-to-date source of information for my local shortline, the TC&W. Details on operations, locomotives, news and photos can be found here.

Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern by Jeff Z
Jeff Z's Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern pages. Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern is a small tourist railroad located in the northern tip of Berks County Pennsylvania. Although small, the WK&S is largely unmatched in terms of authenticity and scenic diversity.

I've been riding the WK&S ever since I can remember. My family had been riding before I was born. As a child, I would ride the line as many times as I could talk my parents or grandparents into taking me.

Western Pacific Railroad Page
I like to think of this site as an electronic publication. I am attempting to present, in as complete a manner as possible, information relating to the railroads that have sparked an interest not only for me but many others as well. As with all projects of this magnitude research is ongoing and new information is gleaned daily. I am hopeful you will find all of the information concerning the Western Pacific Railroad and subsidiary roads you may desire for historical, modeling or general interest purposes located here.
