ACACSO-Association of car accounting and car services
The objectives of this association, as stated in the by-laws, are to promulgate rules and methods for improving the handling of railroad freight cars, trailers and containers, and maintenance of records and accounts relating thereto. The actual car accounting and car service rules of Circular OT-10 are created and published by the AAR. However, historically, many of those rules had their start as a discussion topic within this association. There may be no better forum than the twice-yearly ACACSO meetings for gaining an understanding of the rules and issues that confront those working in this area.
