Welcome to The Short Line's web site. The Short Line is owned by Pioneer Railroad Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pioneer Railcorp. The Short Line is now in its 28th year! The Short Line reports on the news and happenings in the railroads industry. We specialize in reporting on shortline railroads, industrial railroads and tourist railroads.
