The historic River Port town of Goolwa (approximately 85kms south of Adelaide) is situated on both fresh and salt water and is the last town on the Murray River where the river meets the sea. The webcam captures a view of the Goolwa Wharf and includes the Murray River, Hindmarsh Island Bridge, Café, boarding station for Coorong Cruises and the Paddle Steamer Oscar W which is moored adjacent to the Goolwa Riverboat Centre. In the foreground, a tourist train operates on Australia's first railway line (diesel & steam engines) every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday each week and everyday during South Australian school holidays.
