Germany, Hannover - Hannover Tramway Museum
Hanover, Germany - The Museum comprises the only nationwide collection of tramcars in Germany, located on the site of a former potash mine in Sehnde-Wehmingen, southeast of Hanover.
About fifty trams are on display in the exhibition hall and a provisional carbarn, representing German trams from horsetram to the sixties. Additional elements like pantographs show special aspects of tramway history.
Exibition Hall Inside a former administration building we are arranging small exhibitions of tramway technics and tramway systems of Hannover and Brunswick. The photo shows the interior of a former underground interlocking, now part of our exhibition.
In a small cinema we present old tram films mostly black and white. In another room you can drive a Berlin tram yourself with a tram simulator turning a genuine old controller.
On opening days at least one tram is in service over a 2.5 km distance. Our trams depart every 20 minutes with additional cars during rush hours. One tram ride is free if you hold a valid entrance ticket.
On the museum site there are about 4 km standard gauge tracks which we already electrified. Over the next years we will amend more tracks to create a loop for single ended tramcars.

Japan - Kyoto Railway Museum
On April 29, 2016, the Kyoto Railway Museum opened to the public, offering the opportunity to experience Japan's steps toward modernization through its railway history in the city of Kyoto, where both tradition is valued and innovation continues.
The fundamental concept of our museum is to become the hub of railway culture that progresses with its community. We seek to unite ourselves with local communities by setting a basic mission: to contribute to the revitalization of local communities through business activities centered on the railway.

Japan - The Railway Museum
The Railway Museum was built in Onari, Saitama City as the centerpiece of the JR East 20th Anniversary Memorial Project.
This is a railway museum, and it preserves both the physical elements and heritage of railways in Japan and abroad. It also preserves materials relating to JR East and the JNR privatization reforms. The Railway Museum also conducts research and development.
This is a historical museum that tells the industrial history of the development of the railway system while introducing the historical background of each period with displays of actual models.
It is also an educational museum. Children can learn about and experience railway principles, systems, and the latest technologies (including future plans) through models, simulations, and play equipment.

Kraftverkehrsgesellschaft Dreiländereck GmbH
Kraftverkehrsgesellschaft Dreiländereck (which means "bus company three countries corner") (KVG) and the Saxon-Oberlausitz railway company (SOEG).
The railway route is situated East of Dresden in Germany, right next to the border to Poland and the Czech Republic.
It runs from the town of Zittau to two villages with health spas. At the village of Oybin the museum of the narrow gauge railway is located.
The trains are operated with steam on narrow gauge, some go to one village, some to the other, here is the time table, obviously valid all year round

The Decauville Railway Museum is a narrow gauge railway museum with railway of 700mm gauge under construction. Length of the railway built to date is apr. 1 mile. The SBSM is collecting industrial narrow gauge railway equipment; small locomotives and wagons who use light portable track with narrow gauge.
