In the museum 'experience' is central. You can not just look at the beautiful, historic trains, there is plenty to do and experience. The different 'worlds' of the museum tell the story of nearly 175 years of railways in the Netherlands. Boring? Not at all! The "worlds" of the Railway in 'The Great Discovery' go back in time and end up in an old coal mine. You hear the story of the invention of the steam engine and meet the Eagle, the first train that ran in The Netherlands. In "Dream Travel" the actors of the museum will take you on a journey with the upscale Orient Express. And the 'Steel Monsters' you make a thrilling ride through life-size locomotives. In 'The Workshop' are the beautiful old locomotives and carriages. Special EduTRAINers happy to tell you more about this historic trains. right click on the pictures for an impression. A feast for children , especially for children, it is a joy to explore. the "worlds" of the Railway Outside the kids can let off steam in the playground and in the children's train ride. Sandstone Heritage Trust
Sandstone Heritage Trust is a private Preservation initiative established on a commercial farm in the Eastern Free State in South Africa. While the 2-ft Narrow Gauge railway is at the centre of our activities because it plays quite an important role in the ongoing transportation of items on the farm it should not be allowed to over shadow many of the other fascinating items of interest. Military vehicles, Agricultural Traction engines, buses, cars, ox wagons with oxen attached are all there.

From Belgrad to Dubrovnik and Zelenika, on 760 mm narrow-gauge track, from 1925 to 1974, through tunnels, over the bridges and through mountain gorges, ran famous train Cira, leaving behind itself remarkable smell of steam locomotive smoke…
Now….
We have renewed this part of railway, which represents unique construction work, on the route from station Sargan Vitasi to Mokra Gora, and once again echoes the sound of the wagon and cheerful murmur of tourists on the train on famous Sargan eight.
From Mokra gora to Sargan Vitasi you will pass through 22 tunnels,over five bridges,and overcome the altitude difference of 300 meters, and all that on a total distance of 15,440 meters.
During your ride you will have an opportunity to see from one of five observation platforms all the beauty and richness of the nature of this region.
