Arkansas - Mammoth Spring Frisco Depot Museum
Mammoth Spring AR - Mammoth Spring, Arkansas's largest spring, flows nine million gallons of water hourly. Forming a scenic 10-acre lake, it then flows south as the Spring River, a popular trout and float stream.

Near the spring, a beautifully-restored 1886 Frisco depot houses a collection of railroad memorabilia. The baggage room displays local history exhibits, and just outside is a Frisco caboose. The 1886 Frisco Depot will take you back in time to a bustling 1800s train depot. The Mammoth Spring Depot is one of only a few depots in the nation that have been restored as museums dedicated to interpreting their roles as train depots

Delaware - Wilmington & Western Railroad
Wilmington, DE - On the last weekend of May in 1966, a new steam tourist railroad began carrying children of all ages through Delaware's historic Red Clay Valley. Engine No. 92, a former Canadian National 2-6-0, pulled the first revenue train between Greenbank Station and Mt. Cuba.

Over fifty years later, the Wilmington & Western continues to carry thousands of passengers each year, and has become one of the East Coast's premier scenic tourist railroads. From your seat on our vintage train, history will come alive, senses will be excited, and a forgotten era will be re-lived (and we think you'll have a little fun along the way)!

District of Columbia - Smithsonian Institution Ed Pick
America on the Move highlights the Smithsonian's unparalleled and extremely popular transportation collections in new and creative ways. Using multimedia technology, immersive environments, and other theatrical techniques, America on the Move brings ships, trains, trucks, and automobiles back to life—or, more accurately, back to history. See these artifacts as they once were: moving people and products from place to place, a vital part of the nation's transportation system, a vital part of our business, social, and cultural history.

This major exhibition examines how transportation—from 1876 to 1999—has shaped our American identity from a mostly rural nation into a major economic power, forged a sense of national unity, delivered consumer abundance, and encouraged a degree of social and economic mobility unlike that of any other nation of the world.
