Wasilla, AK - Welcome to Alaska Live Steamers, DBA Alaska Central Railroad! Alaska Live Steamers is a 501C-3 nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to the preservation and education of railroad history.
Our organization is run by volunteers only. Nobody is being paid for their volunteer time, we all just love trains.
All the money we make from train rides and with donations is used to maintain the facility and extend the track.
We are trying to create a fun place for train lovers young and young at heart. Everyone can ride the train. We even have a chair car for those with special needs! Please let us know in advance if this car is required.

Arizona - Maricopa Live Steamers
Phoenix, AZ - The Maricopa Live Steamers Railroad Heritage Preservation Society is a club for people who enjoy preserving the heritage of railroading. Club members and visitors enjoy two facets of our hobby:
The first are those who research and build scale steam locomotives and modern diesels.
The second are those who simply love railroading. They enjoy running, track switching, hauling and doing maintenance.
Our membership comprises people from around the Phoenix metropolitan area and non-resident members who live outside a 75 mile radius. We offer junior membership for those interested in railroading who are under the age of 18.
Many of our members build their own locomotives and cars. Other members either have their engines built or run club equipment.

Arizona - Scottsdale Live Steamers
Scottsdale, AZ - Scottsdale Live Steamers is a fun and exciting club and the club members really enjoy it. We give rides on Sundays from noon to 5pm.
You can run your own engine or if you don't have an engine of your own there are club engines that are available to use.
The club has occasional meets. On these meets other members from other clubs from throughout Arizona can come down and run their trains.
In this gauge which is 7.5", the most common scale is 1.5". There are many different types of locomotives and ways that you can power them. There are battery operated or electric locomotives, there are locomotives powered by gasoline, and of course, steam powered locomotives.

Reedley, CA - Hillcrest Christmas Tree Farm at Reed and Adams is the oldest in the San Joaquin Valley. Founded in 1960 by Ed and Bonnie Toews (pronounced Taves) it has been at its current location ever since.
Come enjoy a 15 minute tour of the farm on an exquisite half scale LIVE STEAM narrow gauge railroad for only $4.00 per person, age 2 and up. Also enjoy children's play areas, trails & picnic areas. Snacks and drinks available, Hot food on weekends seasonally.
