Saskatchewan - Southern Prairie Railway
Ogema, SK - Southern Prairie Railway is located in beautiful Southern Saskatchewan and showcases the beauty and modesty of the prairies. Operating since 2012, visitors are treated to a rail excursion similar to what pioneers of the 1920's would have experienced when arriving in this new and mysterious land.

Visitors also have the opportunity to stroll down the Town of Ogema's historic Main Street and visit the British America Gas Station It is one of the only remaining corner stations in Western Canada. Visitors can also visit the Fire Hal and Fire Hall - which were built after a great fire in 1915 destroyed much of Main Street.

One of the most notable features of the community is the Deep South Pioneer Museum. This pioneer "village" includes 30 historic buildings from Ogema and surrounding communities as well as thousands of operating pieces of antique machinery and artifacts.

Take a trip into the past with a visit to Ogema and the Southern Prairie Railway.

Saskatchewan - Unity & District Heritage Museum
Unity, SK - The Unity and District Museum ccupies the north part of the Regional Park and features restored schools, a church, one of the original early homes of Unity, CP Rail Station and has two large quonsets full of restored cars, trucks, a steam engine, and a threshing machine.

The museum contains a total of 30 buildings and monuments, many of which are furnished with artifacts pertaining to the history of the area.

Saskatchewan - Wadena & District Museum & Nature Centre
Wadena, SK - The Wadena and District Museum and Nature Centre features a variety of buildings including the 1914 Brice farmstead, a 1904 CN station, a 1907 rural school, the Tiger Lily Teacherage and more. All buildings contain pioneer artifacts and other items of interest pertaining to the history of the town and area.

The Nature Centre has interactive displays of endangered species/other wildlife in the Quill Lakes area as well as visitor information.

Saskatchewan - Western Development Museum- Moose Jaw
Moose Jaw, SK - From overland trails and natural waterways to the coming of the railway and automobile, the Moose Jaw WDM highlights the artifacts that changed the face of the prairies. The aviation exhibits include a dedicated Snowbirds aerobatic team display.

The Rail Gallery presents some of the largest artifacts in the WDM collection including CPR steam locomotive 2634, CPR diesel-electric locomotive 6553, a superintendent's coach built in the 1880s, a combination baggage and passenger coach, a 1914 Vulcan steam locomotive, and a caboose. A model railway diorama gives a miniature look at transportation by rail.
