Pennsylvania - Shohola Caboose
Shohola, PA - Placed on its current Shohola site on March 19, 1991, #21754 was an 1949 N7 formerly used on the Reading, Penn Central, and Conrail lines. The Shohola Railroad and Historical Society, popularly know as The Caboose Group was formed March 19, 1991 for the specific purpose of preserving and maintaining the Shohola Caboose. When the group's constitution was completed in October of that year, its goal had been expanded to include the preservation of local history and railroad history, especially as it relates to the Shohola area.

These same tracks carried Lincoln's funeral train two years later. Come experience history as you ride in our custom built coaches, pulled by a 1860s replica steam locomotive.
Steam into History, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, educational, charitable organization. We operate a steam train that chronicles the role York County, PA. played in Civil War history and to promote the area as a tourist destination.
Steam into History passengers learn about the railway's role in the growth of small towns along the route and its major contributions to the economic development of York County.
Steam Into History opened June of 2013.

The park occupies about forty acres of the former Scranton Yards of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad, and includes historic railroading buildings, some dating from 1865." Strasburg, PA - Welcome to The National Toy Train Museum, headquarters for The Train Collectors Association, an international organization of men and women dedicated to collecting and preserving toy trains.
Toy trains are presented in a colorful and exciting replica of a turn-of-the-century train station. The Museum's vast collection of floor toys, electric trains and train-related accessories includes those from the mid-1800s through the present. Pennsylvania - Wanamaker Kempton & Southern
The WK&S Railroad is located in Kempton, PA in scenic Berks County. Known as the "Hawk Mountain Line" because of its' proximity to the famous bird sanctuary, the WK&S has been open since 1963. Train rides are offered on weekends from May through October, with special events throughout the year, including a Santa Special weekend in December. Private charters can be arranged at any time, and educational school trips are held on two Fridays in May.
The WK&S strives to appeal to familys, although children of all ages will enjoy their visit to Kempton and the WK&S. The station facilities at Kempton include a large free parking area, a gift shop with many railroad-related items, refreshment stand, waiting room, restrooms, and a large picnic area. There are large grassy areas for the kids to run around, and the quiet rural setting adds to the quaint old-time atmosphere. An HO model train display run by the Schuylkill & Lehigh Model Railroad Club is also open to the public on Sundays.
