Pennsylvania, Elizabethtown - Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad
Elizabethtown, PA - The Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad features a full-size replica 4-4-0 steam locomotive, two period-correct replica 19th-century passenger coaches and the world's only full-size replica of "United States," the coach that carried President Abraham Lincoln's body home from Washington, D.C., to Springfield, IL. The current line is .62 miles and covers a portion of the original ROW over which the "Lincoln Special" funeral train passed in 1865. Commemorations of that event are held each spring. Upon completion of the rail line the HL&L will cover 3 miles and convey passengers through the heart of The Star Barn Village in Elizabethtown, PA.
