Isle of Mull Railway. Scotland
This is Scotland's original and only island passenger railway. The railway is 1¼ miles (2 km) long and operates steam and diesel hauled trains to Torosay, where you can visit Scottish Baronial Torosay Castle and 12 acres (4.8 hectares) of prize-winning gardens and woodland walks. The train journey is one of great beauty and the 260 mm gauge trains potter slowly alongside the Sound of Mull with extensive views of Ben Nevis, the Glencoe hills, the island of Lismore and the mass of Ben Cruachan, and the journey is completed at Torosay station.

Japan - Kyoto Railway Museum
On April 29, 2016, the Kyoto Railway Museum opened to the public, offering the opportunity to experience Japan's steps toward modernization through its railway history in the city of Kyoto, where both tradition is valued and innovation continues.
The fundamental concept of our museum is to become the hub of railway culture that progresses with its community. We seek to unite ourselves with local communities by setting a basic mission: to contribute to the revitalization of local communities through business activities centered on the railway.

Kew Bridge Steam Museum
A steam engine you can walk through while it's working, in a building like a cathedral. That's just ONE of our engines! he Museum is housed in a magnificent 19th Century Pumping Station and centres around the station's five world famous Cornish Beam Engines, two of which can be seen, in steam, every weekend. Many Victorian waterworks had their own railway. At Kew Bridge this is demonstrated by a short line featuring the Steam locomotives "Cloister" and "Wendy", which are operated by the Hampshire Narrow Gauge Railway Society.
