Railway Preservation Society of Ireland
The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland is a registered charity and was formed in 1964 to operate and preserve in working order steam locomotives and coaches which were disappearing rapidly from the Irish Railway system. Today the Society owns and operates a fleet of nine steam locomotives and around 20 vintage carriages on public trains.

Rheilffordd Ffestiniog Railway

On our trains you can travel by steam through the spectacular scenery of the
Snowdonia National Park, between Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog. Today
the Company also operates trains on its sister railway, the Welsh Highland
Railway, between Caernarfon and Waunfawr - the first step of a major
Millennium project to re-open the old line through to Porthmadog.

Sandstone Heritage Trust
Sandstone Heritage Trust is a private Preservation initiative established on a commercial farm in the Eastern Free State in South Africa. While the 2-ft Narrow Gauge railway is at the centre of our activities because it plays quite an important role in the ongoing transportation of items on the farm it should not be allowed to over shadow many of the other fascinating items of interest. Military vehicles, Agricultural Traction engines, buses, cars, ox wagons with oxen attached are all there.

From Belgrad to Dubrovnik and Zelenika, on 760 mm narrow-gauge track, from 1925 to 1974, through tunnels, over the bridges and through mountain gorges, ran famous train Cira, leaving behind itself remarkable smell of steam locomotive smoke…
Now….
We have renewed this part of railway, which represents unique construction work, on the route from station Sargan Vitasi to Mokra Gora, and once again echoes the sound of the wagon and cheerful murmur of tourists on the train on famous Sargan eight.
From Mokra gora to Sargan Vitasi you will pass through 22 tunnels,over five bridges,and overcome the altitude difference of 300 meters, and all that on a total distance of 15,440 meters.
During your ride you will have an opportunity to see from one of five observation platforms all the beauty and richness of the nature of this region.
